FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (USA) –Boat security, monitoring & tracking products supplier Global Ocean Security Technologies (GOST - formerly Paradox Marine) will feature its new GOST NT Evolution all-in-one system and the GOST Immobilizer at the 2011 Miami International Boat Show, February 17-21, Electronics Room booth 1683 in the Miami Beach Convention Center.

GOST NT Evolution combines the GOST Nav-Tracker and Marine Magellan systems to provide boat security, monitoring and tracking in a single unit. It is a hybrid of the GOST Nav-Tracker and core Marine Magellan technology, making it the most sophisticated, all inclusive Nav-Tracker yet.

NT Evolution uses a third generation tracking website which incorporates an advanced Google Earth interface and uses the Inmarsat network of satellites for ultra reliability. It is the ideal solution for boats with limited living/ bunking space who want to bury the unit and strictly rely off key fobs.

The GOST Immobilizer – nominated for a NMMA Product Innovation Award at the Miami show - is an easy-to-install boat security system for single-engine boats, yacht tenders, RIBs and PWCs. The device is controlled via a wireless key fob. When armed, the Immobilizer blocks high current draw from the battery while still allowing low power consumption components such as stereo memory to function normally. When an engine startup is attempted, the Immobilizer sounds a timed siren and prevents the engine from turning over.
